biometric fingerprint scanner module

FP01 is a compact intelligent fingerprint recognition module that supports fast identification with high accuracy and good safety, allowing for the recording of 50 pieces of fingerprints. The surface of the fingerprint sensor is coated with a high-hardness layer, resulting in minimal wear during normal use and a long service life.
• FAR(False Acceptance Rate):<1/100000
• FRR(False Rejection Rate):<0.01%
• average response speed: Fingerprint feature extraction time < 0.25s; Average matching time for a single fingerprint < 0.5s
• Fingerprints storage: 50 finger prints
• 360degree fingerprint recognition
• self-learn function
• friendly LED light
Use case in GPS tracking and IoT

stable fingerprint recognition
low FAR and FRR.

RS232 port support
host device can receive data via RS232 from fingerprint module.

relay control under fingerprint verification
fingerprint module can control the relay directly without commands from main device like GPS or dashcam.

support other devices
support other devices. Users can use the fingerprint module with Teltonika GPS directly.
The fingerprint scanner module works independently from the host device.
In other words, users don’t need to spend much time on integration with host device. If unauthorised fingerprint detected, the module would trigger the relay itself without action from host device.

use cases
smart locks, fingerprint switches, fingerprint padlocks, safes, jewelry boxes, luggage locks, etc.

how to place your fingers on scanner module?
In the rapid and accurate fingerprint recognition process, in addition to requiring advanced fingerprint recognition algorithms and high image quality fingerprint collectors, user cooperation is essential to ensure the collection of clear and good original fingerprint templates. During fingerprint collection, fingers must be wiped of sweat and water, and dust must be removed, with fingers pressed in the correct posture.

■ Make sure your fingers are not wet or dirty.
■ When taking the fingerprint, your fingers should be placed parallel to the collection surface, with the fingertips positioned at the center of the sensor, applying slight pressure to achieve this.
■ Follow the prompts; do not move or shake your finger while collecting fingerprints, and try to press at the same position each time.
■ If your finger is peeling, it is recommended to register using a finger that is not peeling from among the ten fingers.
